INTERNATIONAL BOMB PLOTTER JAILED FOR 40 YEARS IN US

Abid Naseer is 29 years old and he was sentenced by a federal judge in New York because and he has been sentenced to 40 years in jail for plotting attacks in several countries. 

The last plotting attack that he was involuted for wear a bomb belt to attack Manchester, New York City and Copenhagen. 

In March, a jury declare he guilty to give support to al-Qaeda and conspiracy to use a destructive device.

Diego Rodriguez, FBI assistant director said that Nasser failed to use the British education visa system to make the best of his life.

In 2009 Naseer was first arrested in the UK because of they thought that he and 11 other men was prepare a bomb attack. They don't found explosives but Naseer and the other men were ordered to leave the country.

I can't understand why people can kill other people and why you can commit suicide only for an ideal. People should be calm and good with other people and I don't understand yet why we create bomb to kill other people, to kill innocent people. If you have a problem with somebody you have to talk with he or she and you sort out how you want, if you want kill the other person it's ok but you never have to kill or damage innocent people. It was like #payforparis because in paris die a lots of innocent people and thats unfair. When I read news like this I feel dangerous and for example now I have scary to travel in Paris. We have to stop this attacks but how?

ICELAND: RARE 'MOONBOW' APPEARS IN NIGHT SKY

Vidir Bjorsson is the photograph of this rare rainbow in Iceland.
He explain that he and his friend were going with a car one night that was raining so much and they can't believe that what they saw. A rainbow at night! They tell us that they stop the car to take a photography of that incredible, beauty and magic thing.

A rainbow appears when moonlight, instead than direct sunlight, is refracted by moisture in the atmosphere. This happens unusually even Iceland but sometimes it happens and we can't see the rainbow because the light is white.

I really love the nature and of course I really love the rainbows too and I think that it's a magical thing and I wants to see one, also I wants to see an Aurora borealis. I always think that if one day I have the opportunity to see one of that two things I'll feel so relax and I think that it would be a special moment that I can't describe because I'm a person who is really love when I have time for stay alone and thinking about all, and I really enjoy only observing and as a result of that I think that if I'll see a rainbow I'll enjoy it more than the other people.

"US scientists say they have bred a genetically modified (GM) mosquito that can resist malaria infection."

Malaria is a illness that it's transmit with a mosquitoes sting and it's so dangerous because every year die about 580 000 people. Scientists to avoid that the people die did an experiment. They put a new resistance gene (CRISPR) into the mosquito's own DNA. This gene is heredity and that's too important because it means that all mosquitoes that have this gene when sting people don't transmit malaria.

The University of California have an experiment for checking that the gene will pass on all generations of mosquitoes. They do that experiment with an Indian mosquitoes and for good luck that's function because almost 100% of the next generation of the mutate mosquitoes was resist malaria.

Prof David Conway, UK expert from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, said: "It's not the finished product yet but it certainly looks promising. It does look like the genetic editing works."

For the other side, there are other scientists that say that if we do an unfertile mosquitoes but if we do that then the mosquitoes will be extinct and that's can produce no wish effects on the nature.

 

In my opinion I think that this is a great solution because the mosquitoes can leave and we haven't to guard of the malaria. I really think that we don't have to extinct the mosquitoes because if we do that we will change the nature unnaturally and we don't know the nature reaction effects. We have to learn to leave with a sting mosquitoes.

ORAL PRESENTATION "HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER?"

My self-evaluation: in my opinion I think that is the best oral presentation that I never done because it was the first time that I can stand up and explain for the class without so many nervous.
Following the format that our teacher give us I think that my mark is:

PRESENTATION: 10% because I know that Martí and I was 4 hours working about the presentation because we wants to be perfect and to get attention of our classmate.

BODY LANGUAGE: In my opinion I think that also we have a 10% because while we were explain we never look at the paper and we always were looking at the classmate and at the teacher. And when we explains anything that we supposed that the classmate don't knows we pointed at the image for helping us to understand our presentation.

STRUCTURE: 10% because when you look on the note board you for the first look you have a good impression and when we explain all was in order; firstly the introduction, secondly the plot of the series, thirdly the main characters of the series, fourthly curiosities of the series and finally one video of the best moments of one character.

CONTENT: 35% Because I think that we didn't explain all of that series but we only had 5 min per person to explain a lot of things and we decide to summarize a little bit. But the content that we explained was all true and the two curiosities and the end of the series I think that are so important to put in the content.

LANGUAGE: 15% Because we aren't English persons and although our teacher correct us our presentation before we present we haven't a perfect language because most of the language that we used I think that our teacher would have changed.

PRONUNCIATION: 8% I know that my pronunciation isn't perfect but I think that in two summers that I have work and I speak some English I get better with my pronunciation, and I listen so songs in English because they are so beautiful and I really love to sing them but for sing I have to know the letter and when I know the letter I can sing and improve my pronunciation.

Then my mark is for me an 8.8.

They studied rookie teachers working in really tough neighborhoods and asking them some questions.

Finally they get conclusion about in all of those different context have one common characteristic that was grit.

In my opinion first I want to say that this news it was too important for me because I'm not a really intelligent but if I work so hard I think that I can with anything. Now, in 2nd of Batxillerat I have to study a lot and I do that but it's not enough for me because I fail a lot. But I think that I study every day a lots of hours and my problem maybe is that I have to profit better the time that I was studying. With this part of my opinion I want to say that the 80% of the marks of the students it's our responsibility but the 20% is teachers responsibility because they have to do that we like to studying. The teachers have to motivate the students because that students are the future of the world and they have to be good qualified for the challenges of the future. 

LLAMPEC

Six years ago one of my horses have a colt and I decide his name, Llampec. I keen on ride Llampec but when he has 4 years I realize that I can't ride more because I play volleyball and I study and for this reason I gave Llampec to a friend. When my dog dead and I felt so sad this same friend says me that he can't remain Llampec because he went to Lleida to study. And well, I thought that it was a good chance for me and my father. When Llampec returns I felt so good and when I ride he I felt free. Now I try to have time for volleyball study and for my horse, it's really difficult to organize but for the moment I can do the three things.
Llampec is a white horse, he is little but I think that is so cute. Llampec is like a dog because when I call he he comes to me so quickly, when I brush he and I stop he takes the brush with the mouth and give it to me... I have a connection with Llampec and it's so cool when I start to run in the field and he pursue me.

WILLIAM KAMKWAMBA

William Kamkwamba lived in a village in Malawy. His family were about 20 people and their devoted their life at farming, but they didn't have enough money to pay the school fees of William. One day he went to the library and there found a book where he saw a windmill. He thought that he could make one to get profit of the wind on Malawy.  With only 14 years old he built the first windmill of the village. As a result of his efforts he went to the USA and completed his studies.

MY DOG DEAD

It was an ordinary day, in particular it was on Friday 27th of March. These Friday we started "Setmana Santa" and I went to train like all Fridays. When I was return at home I write on my whats app group of my team that I had a bad presentiment and all of my team mate tells me "don't worry Lau all it's ok" but I knew that anything didn't go good. Half hour later I arrived to Fortià and when I saw my mother eyes I knew that anything bad happened. I was look into her eyes and I say "mum, what happened?" and she tells me that my father went to run with my dog and when he finished to run and called Nunú my dog didn't go with my father. Then my father saw that Nunú pursued a cat. They ran to the Figueres highway and a car run over to my dog. Nunú don't survive the crash. When my mother tells me that I cry and cry. I miss Nunú and I think that my father don't have to have lived this situation because he don't deserve this situation my father is one of the best people in the world and I wish that hopefully I lived this situation for he. At home we're so distressing but I think that we need so time.

MAIL TO THE TEACHER

Dear teacher,

I’m Laura and in this mail I’ll explain to you my short and long-term goals, possible challenges, who can help me to stay on track and how I expect to overcome them. At the end of this mail I’ll comment one sentence of Obama’s speech.

I only have a short-term goal and it’s to earn good grades because last year I failed a lot and I took a turn for the worse but although my failure I never gave up. Next year I would like to study CAFE and I don’t have to drop out and study so hard because the cut-off mark is a 9’4 more or less and now I have a 6. To study CAFE is one of my long-term goals. My possible challenges are that I have a sleep disorder that have to study because when I’m sleeping in one moment of the night my eyes are awake but the rest of my body isn’t, this means that I can’t move my body for example I can’t raise my hand and also I can’t speak. Yes, I know that’s scary but the worse part is that I can feel the presence of souls and I can’t wake up. It’s horrible, it’s really horrible. When I can wake up of this nightmare I’m scared to sleep, I think that this is the most important challenge that I have to confront. I don’t know how I can overcome this problem because I try so many experiments and anyone has worked. I follow trying for find a solution but for the moment I don’t know how I can discover that solution.

My second long-term goal is to be a professional volleyball player although it’s a little impossible because to get this I have to give up my studies and my horse. And I think that volleyball has to be a hobby and nothing else but when I’m in volleyball court I feel so free, I feel that I can touch the sky and I think that I can do anything. But volleyball isn’t football and you know that although I was the most brilliant volleyball player I’ll never work as a volleyball player because it’s not enough.

In this case I think that I’ll keep playing volleyball only as a hobby.

The people who can help me are my family and one “special friend” that while last year I failed so many times, he never gave up and always trusted in me. When my family didn’t trust in me, he was the only who did it. He is Marc and he’s an incredible person I don’t know how he could trust me. He only has to see me to know what I’m thinking, I think we have a special click. He helped me last year when I felt so sad for my sleep disorder and when I had to go to sleep all night he called me and made me feel better with his stories. So I’m really thankful so much with Marc, he is really special for me and he makes me happy every day.

In Obama’s speech I heard a sentence: If you don’t do that, if you don’t study, not only damage yourself as well as you damage your country. I choose this sentence because in my opinion each country hopes and has an aspiration but the key is the people who live in that country because they are the majority of the population. If the population is rich in culture and studies the country evolves. If the country doesn’t advance and then the other countries can get profit damage you and the people who live with you.

I can see an improvement on my level since 4th ESO because I write more fluid and I can to read more in less time. If you see my first posts you will see that I didn't write too much and now I can write more of a hundred words and I have attitude for do the blog.

In my opinion, I think that the your says are the best activity for learn English because you write of thinks that you like and it's so better and easy for me than the other. Because if you do anything that you like you do that with attitude.

I think that your says are the activities really useful because you have to write all of you think and you have to do sentences for write correctly. Or other activity that I think it's good to learn is the description of a picture because you have to say all of you see in that picture. For describe a picture you have to know many of vocabulary and as you use that vocabulary you learn it.

In my opinion, I think that the news are the worse activities because you have to read and summarize the text and you can see how to write and I don't know I think that it isn't so useful to learn English.

I would like to do your says again because when I write a your say I write my thinks and there are personal thinks. Because I can to vent my feelings and then I feel so better, I don't know, it's to nice to me do your says.

WE HAVE MADE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE. DO YOU AGREE?

In our world we have lots of problems and we don't see that because we don't to see. While the years go by pass we accomulate all of pasat problems with new problems. That's why I don't agree with we have made the world a better place.

First, we have a diferent social classes, the first worls that the people live in a good condition and the people who live in the first world not want to see the people who live in the third world where they die everyday because they don't have anything to eat or to drink.

Second, we have made more pollution every day and we don't stop this. This pollution is destroying our planet and If we don't stop that we will have to live to another planet or all people of the world die.

Third, we can see that humans are so egoists because we don't only destroy our ecosystem, we destroy the ecosystem of all animals of the world. We kill lots of animals every day and lots of animals are extinct.

In conclusion, I think that we not want to do anythink but when the problem is going to be bigger we don't find a solution and we don't know what can we do to solve this problem.

They are visible during the day. The fact that they have four suns ago that there can be life on this planet because the temperature is extremely high and it is practically impossible that there can be life there.

OPINION

In my opinion I really like this book for people who had between 12 to 15 years old because it's a romantic story. I think that when a person had about 16-17 years have to read books more interesting like I don't know Eragon or La teoría del todo, etc. When I read that book I really love that but now if I read I probably dislike. Because when I bought it I thought that this book was about physics and love but it's 90% stories of love.
